Hershey Road to Be Closed for Pipe Replacement in Summit Township, Erie County

A portion of Hershey Road (Route 4010) will be closed to through traffic in Summit Township, Erie County from August 12 to August 16, 2024.

The closure is necessary in order to replace a pipe beneath the roadway between Route 99 (Route 699) and White Birch Lane. A detour will be posted using Route 99 and Grubb Road (Route 4011).

All work will be completed by employees from PennDOT’s Erie County maintenance facility.

Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras.
