ZWILLING ROAD (BETWEEN PERRY HIGHWAY & FOOTMILL ROAD)

5/17/24 Update: The wingwalls were poured yesterday afternoon. Now the structure is complete and once the walls have reached a sufficient strength, the final backfill and paving can be completed. Backfilling can begin as soon as Monday with paving following right after. As always with construction, things popup that make it take longer than you anticipate. We appreciate everyone’s patience.
Once Zwilling Road is completed, the contractor will be moving onto Footmill Road. Expect a similar duration for the closure of Footmill. Once we a date for the closure, we will let you know.

4/25/24 Update: Zwilling Road will be closed starting Monday, April 29th. The closure will last one to two weeks weather depending. The detour is posted utilizing Perry Highway, Townhall Road, and Donation Road.

Construction is tentatively scheduled to start on Monday, April 29, 2024, to replace a stream culvert on Zwilling Road. The culvert is located east of the railroad crossing. During the construction, the road will be closed. A detour will be posted utilizing Perry Highway, Townhall Road, and Donation Road.
This is the first of three culverts that will be replaced this spring in this area. The other two are located on Footmill Road and Benjamin Road.
