Hawick / Dundee / Glencoe

UPDATE 7/18/2023
Paving of Hawick, Glencoe, and Dundee is starting today. Hamot Road is scheduled to be paved starting next week.

POSTED 6/30/2023:
Work will tentatively begin on Hawick Road and Dundee Road on July 5th. The roads will remain open during the work with moving lane restrictions. The work will include milling of the roads followed by repaving. The timing of the repaving will be dependent on weather and paving on Hamot Road. So, there may be an extended period of time where there is uneven rough pavement. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we make these improvements.

ORIGINAL POST:
It’s that time of year again. The annual seal coating (Tar and Chip) will start at the end of June or early July and will last about one week, weather permitting. The roads to be seal coated are listed below. The seal coating program rejuvenates the roadway by adding fresh oils to the pavement and the aggregate acts as a new wearing surface protecting the underlying pavement and improving traction of the road.
