Zoning Hearing Board
The Zoning Hearing Board is a local court for zoning matters. The purpose of the Zoning Hearing Board is to hear and consider appeals, challenges, variances and special exceptions from provisions of the Summit Township Zoning Ordinance. The Board consists of three members who are appointed by the Board of Supervisors, and they hold public hearings as needed on the fourth Tuesday of the month. Applications to be heard by the Board must be submitted by the last Monday of the month preceding the intended Zoning Hearing Board meeting.
